DOERNBECHER SPONSOR FORM

Thank you for considering a sponsorship opportunity to support the 17th Annual Doernbecher Softball Tournament benefiting Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The Tournament will be held at Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation softball fields on June 21st and 22nd, 2003. For sponsors, it is an excellent opportunity for you to reach five to six hundred business professionals. For softball teams, it is a chance for Portland-area companies to socialize, network and compete, all while having fun and supporting a very worthy cause.

Last year, more than 30 local and national companies participated and raised $30,000 for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. In 2002, the money from the tournament supported the hospital’s area of greatest need and helped cover the costs of care for many uninsured or underinsured children who receive the best medical care available at Doernbecher. One of the hospital’s priorities this year is the expansion of the Kenneth W. Ford Cancer Center to accommodate the more than 80 percent of young cancer patients in Oregon (and Southwest Washington) who rely upon Doernbecher for its cutting-edge and life saving cancer treatments.
